I always pick up tips and tricks from your videos! Thank you for sharing your knowledge :) Can I ask? Do you leave your landscape fabric down for the winter or roll it up?

This was my second year using a heat mat under my pots and it has worked well. A week went by and I can see the leaf peaking up.

When did you start your ranunculus? Do you succession plant?
@courtneycullen62894 күн бұрын
I just soaked three new bulbs for about 24ish hours and I swear the bulbs look more green. It's been less than a week since I soaked and potted them, but I swear it woke my bulbs up.

Do you find a heat mat and gro lights speeds them up? Love your videos!
@gingersflorals4 күн бұрын
Heat will. They don’t really need light until they sprout
@janepeters57324 күн бұрын
@ some are starting to sprout but not all of them. I just have them all sitting together. I don’t think the light will hurt the others. I wish I had known about your tip to soak them. I’m half tempted to take them out of the pots and soak some of them right now. I soaked, but only for about an hour.

I just potted some of my amaryllis up today and did the pre soak method that I had seen on Danielle from Northlawn did last year I believe. Can’t wait to see the difference between pre soaking or not! Like you, I love amaryllis and this time of year when things slow down a bit and I can finally catch my breath before the next season starts!

Fun to watch your garden--its SO close to mine! Our weather the same but no frost yet! I didnt hear you say you had a coral bark maple but can HIGHly recommend that--BRILLIANT red branches in winter. We are so LUCKY to be able to grow so many awesome plants in our zone! Happy T Day and good luck on your hand!

Hi, I'm in UK, I pre started some of my renuculas and have out doors but moved with plastic sheet, 2 have started growing flowers already, only covered them as we get lots of rain and they are in a raised bed.
@gingersflorals9 күн бұрын
I’d think you wouldn’t need to cube them from rain in a raised bed. But, if it works that’s awesome

I am in Tualatin, OR and own Witch Flower Florist. I was wondering if you leave your rudbeckia in as perennial or replant each season?

Hi. Enjoy seeing ideas like this. I’m curious, what was that elevated item in the corner behind you in the beginning of the video? I was intrigued because of the magnifying glass. I also chuckled about the recumbent bike. It makes me feel better to know we are not alone! Our elliptical is totally in with the rest of the furniture. If it ends up in the garage no one will use it….. 🤣
@gingersflorals13 күн бұрын
It’s actually an orchid grower. The magnifying glass is to study the flower petals

How often are you watering your tulip bulbs? We’ve experienced a major drought here in CT and I planted my tulip bulbs early October and only watered once after learning from another garden channel bulbs needed to be watered…I never knew this! I’m a new gardener and am constantly learning, thank you for your videos and all of your knowledge🙏

I did the dump level and cover method this year too. I put in 6250 this year. I make a timber frame on bare ground and top off the bulbs with several inches of compost. Gamechanger

I missed this one. It’s fascinating. It also puts the spotlight on how much planning goes into producing all those flowers. I have a very small yard. Every year I try something to see if it will even grow well. Crops like Lisianthus that will move in and live in a space for most of the season make choices tougher. I’m learning…

Ginger help! I just soaked and planted my anemones and ranunculus and placed in my basement! Just found out I will be out of town for a week. Will they dry out? Should I water deeply the day I leave or find someone to come in and water for me? Thanks in advance for your help!
