I like creatures.
Marred with lies and beauty and stunning qualities gone wrong. I love seeing stories scattered across the eyes of lovecraftian beasts, hidden in the mangled or pristine furs of simple creatures. Abominations, entirely short of divine, and beauties, gorgeous with flaw, both could warp into monsters.
I want to create only unique creatures. I've always had my eyes set on those specific oddities and monstrous qualities.
I may not have enough skill to perfectly illustrate my way of seeing these beasts, but I hope to grow to a length where you could at least see how a sketch's pained gaze of sorrow could paint a picture better than shiny scales or sparkling fur ever could.
My issue here?
I've been used to only doing line art and sketches, drawing in blacks and whites and grey. As this channel started, I had to learn colors, shading, hues, lighting, and patterns to create better creatures.
And so, I try to strengthen my skills in art and designing alike.
