This has got to be one of the most annoying videos ive ever seen. Boy does this guy like to talk crap!

Thanks! Bought one for cheap that was "making weird sound on one side". Found a random piece of plastic in there. This video helped after a little head scratching how to get to the top.

Your voice is annoying, you are doing an imitation of how girls copy their pop star idols with a kind of croaky lazy way of talking, man up and stop for the sake of everyone else that has to hear it.

So the wife decided to turn the machine upside down and apply a degreaser, since then Draw 2 trips out all the electric when you switch it on. I am thinking grease maybe on the board, What's your thoughts

Tip - once the lid is off, there are 4 screws that hold the 'shell' , undo them and lift shell upwards and then tipping it forwards. Undo the ribbon cable connecting the control panel. Then more screws ...

So is that the whole outer shell that will come off? Or just the top bit?
@davidgravel85382 ай бұрын
@@GUITARofAWSOME I just tried this tonight to clean a fan motor that had become slow from grease accumulation. I had to remove more than just the 4 screws on the top described to get the shell off from top to bottom along with the top bit all attached. In addition to the 4 phillips at the top, there are 4 phillips just inside where the trays slide in. Then at the bottom, the screws on the perimeter that are torx with a middle pin. A standard torx may do the trick as they are not tight/difficult. I got the first out then found I had the actual bit with the hole in the middle to make it easier for the others. With that, yes, the shell (top and grey sides) came right up, leaving just the ribbon cable to detach from the board. From there you have access to all the top electronics, fans, etc.

@@davidgravel8538 thanks! I figured the same eventually. As a side note there's another thermal fuse inside the fan motor which also blew on mine. Switched that one out too and got it working again

Whats the name of the thermal fuses? If you need to order them that is?

Hello, did you have an answer to your question? Thank you
@benthakomwa2 ай бұрын
@guillaumegeiller7013 Unfortunately, not, I have to be honest. I have not touched the air fryer since opening it as I have not had any time.
@gabriel21142 ай бұрын
Maybe once you take out the thermal fuse it might have something identifiable on it to replace it like for like.
what actually was the symptom of the problem, . My fryer will not turn on , it is dead, is this a possible solution for that problem or is this for something else ?

If your air fryer won’t power on then replacing any blown fuses internally most definitely will be a possible solution. If you change the fuses and it still won’t power on you’ll wish you just sent it back to the ninja kids who made it for repair / replacement.

Had to fix the fan motor on mine, 18 months old & the left side fan quit! Anyway, had to remove the motor & take the coil insulation apart to check the thermal fuse, was OK. Stripped the coil connections to the Black & Blue, one of the coil wires wasn't even soldered from factory! Resoldered & it's working perfectly again!

Thanks for diagnosing this issue and for making a video. Turns out that we shared the same issue. I jumped the fuse and got it working. Since everything is shutdown due to Covoid, I've ordered a thermal fuse online from Amazon. You got to love it when someone posts something on KZbin that's useful to many of us instead of being self promoting. Great work man.

How do you know if it's the fuse that's the problem? Other sites say it could be a yellow capacitor. My light on the power switch illuminates, but no grinding occurs. Nothing happens. Any help gratefully appreciated, as De'Longhi have closed their customer support lines due to COVID-19!

did the machine made a 'bang' before stopping working? I may have the same issue. Thanks

It may have, I wasn't in the room when it died unfortunately. It was really hot to the touch after the 2-3 batches I tried to do.

Thank you for the video. It happen the same to my KG89: stopped working after five times. It was because of this thermal fuse that burned out.
