At last rollers that are not ridiculously over priced. Will help young or new anglers build into the sport, which many brands seem to have priced themselves away from enticing. There’s definitely a gap for affordable but good quality products. Ps just visited their website and that is very poor, details inconsistent and site is clunky

Thanks for the review. They appear to have a feature that I've not seen before (the 'open top' of the 3 verticals). Other than fill with water, collect grime and clog up, what is the benefit of that difference please?

What an enormous amount of equipment and bait, it must cost you a fortune, I'm sure that it can't all be necessary. A very disappointing video because it didn't really show you anything. No shots if how to load up the method feeder for instance, nore anything else for that matter.

Tom Pickering isnt an international, he is a seniour. No one casts using their foream? Its for playing fish. Come on Alex, we know you know ow the crack. You are better than 99% of anglers. Whats the point of doing reviews when I cant remeber the last time you actually had any criticisms? Dont become like the rest of the industry. Be our hero lol

What is the weight of this pole at 11.5m?
@christopherjackson52754 ай бұрын
Yes “ how good is it at longer lengths “ because we still don’t know
@julien12 ай бұрын
14.5 to 16 'is as good as you would expect for the price point of this pole' ... I wouldnt expect much to be honest certainly at 16 metres. MTX4 V1 knocks this for six and you might be able to pick one up around 1500 quid. MTX3 V1 probably knocks it for six and you can get a good one for around 900 quid. New superirum x75 is 1999 and 200 quid cheaper.

Hi can you advise the bore of the top kits as I wondered if my old Diawa kits would fit? Thanks Rob
@fivecylinderperfection50604 ай бұрын
I used a digital vernier caliper and measured the internal diameter of the top kit no3 section which is the same for all the top kits on the G90 Pro. It measured at18.35mm. Hope that helps.
@fivecylinderperfection50604 ай бұрын
It would have been useful if the camera guy could get a few shots of what the pole looks like at the longer lengths without it always being hooked into a fish and bending?? All we got was a panned shot of the three silver sections and the usual lengthy vid of trying to land a carp on a light elastic (can you not edit these unnecessary bits?) If you are going to 'test' a pole then try to include aspects of it that a buyer would be interested in such as how stiff it is at 14.5 and 16 metres, whats it like with the phex sections fitted, how it feels compared with the previous G90 and of course the true dimensions given its a Daiwa pole and needs the phex section to make the stated lengths. Sorry for the negative comment, but I think viewers want to visually see the pole being tested at different lengths and not just loads of elastic on a top kit.

Agreed. I'm in the market for a new pole in and around that price bracket and all the 'reviews' are from Daiwa fan-boys with very little actual reviewing!
@fivecylinderperfection50604 ай бұрын
@@wharfeego Agreed. The first 6 or 7 mins was actually decent info on the sections and top kits of the pole. But the filming of it being used offered no insights as to how it felt at the longer lengths being that Daiwa poles need the phex section added to achieve the stated 14.5 or 16 metre lengths. Would have been useful to have seen footage of shipping out and presenting a float at the longer lengths. At least we could have seen if the pole is a bit saggy or maybe even stiffer than expected. I have found one at atackle shop 30 min drive away, going to wave it about and see for myself.
