Pretty sure it’s not tires. It does sound like I have mud tires or something, but I’m 98% sure it’s not tires or tread at all. I’m wanting to say the sound is coming from where the cv axle sits into the transmission but I’m not sure and I’m not sure what it is. From outside of the car, you can’t hear it but from inside it’s terrible and gets louder with speed. When my wheel bearing was bad, I got that usual loud drum hum but after changing the whole knuckle assembly which included to the hub and bearing, now I have this noise.

Make sure your quarter panels have sound deadner, I have the exact same car with 4 sundown u series 10's and it broke my trunk latch and ripped my quarter panel to sections

Indeed. Those little vents in the rear quarter panels I’ve filled with spray foam as well as all the way around them. So yeah, on the inside behind the trunk lining on each side I’ve got a fair amount of spray foam, but I could always use more. It’s just hard at this point to pick the subs n box up it’s self to do more from the inside than I already have. I had a blow out tire a month ago, and man that was some serious work just moving shit to get to my spare! lol! I believe it on the trunk latch! My latch is literally the only thing holding the trunk closed at this point. I have however taken out those two bracing bars that kind of spring load the trunk lid up, so I could fit a deaf bonce aak 180.4 on the under side of the back dash in the trunk, so needless to say there’s kind of more weight holding the trunk down sort of speak, I just don’t know how else to describe it.
