Many thanks for good comments. You are right, this is no great wonder. Because Bjørn Mathias is first and foremost a classical singer, playing the piano is just something he does everynow and then for fun, and according to his teacher, with way too little training effort. 😂 He spends almost all his time practicing vocal singing techniques, but sometimes it is fun to get a bit of variation, so he plays other instruments too. He has previously also been playing the violin and the French horn, to name a few... So in this context, perhaps it is no so bad after all? Although not technically demanding at all, I guess the take-way from here, if any, is probably more the way he interprets and expresses the music, with variations in dynamics and tempo. But specialising in classical singing, he has no ambition to play the big piano pieces I am afraid... 😇

Yes, he is currently working hard on developing his new vocal techniques, creating a richer sound picture production and effortless delivery of the higher ranges. This is not easy, and requires the mm-adjustment and programming of a lot of muscels I didn't even know we had. 🤓
