I worked for BC TEL years ago. We would get old payphones in our warehouse. One model was called Centurien. I'd call them Cylon Phones.

ironically the CG cylons from the 2004 series are more dated than the 1978 counterparts.

Fantastic recreations! I always thought though that it they had went with a dull stainless steel look (and armor on the legs) the costumes would look amazing (not like cheap plastic action figures)

The over-all effect is good and the individual parts of the costume look great, but seeing the neck piece stick out like that with a big gap under it, really spoils the illusion. In the show, it looked like it was either connected to the chest piece, or at the very least, designed in such a way that it always sat down on it.

The gold ones were the officers. They usually didn't carry a rifle but I can't remember if they had a hand laser....

No. From what I have seen, the Cylon Blaster Handguns were issued mainly to Pilots, as shown in the Galactica 1980 episode "The Return of Starbuck"

Cylons are not full on robot, they are supposed to be a Reptile Lizard Hybrid that merged with the original Cylons who were a reptilian race.

@@JENDALL714 that is kinda debatable...I have read that as well in the past, but all mentions of them in the show suggest they are machines that killed their creators. The Cylons that flew Baltar's fighter to Galactica were totally machine...as the tech guy dismantled them to figure out how they worked. Still trying to figure out how he managed to deactivate them.

It always depended upon the plot armor of the character. Jane Seymour was shot in the back at a good distance so Apollo would end up a single dad. Basically she met the fate of Bambi's mom. Meanwhile the Ravoshol Pulsar death ray couldn't hit the Galactica even though it had a computer aiming it.

I have to admit, those Cylon Centurion replica costumes look quite impressive. They look no different from the costumes that were made for the 1978 Battlestar Galactica TV series.
