We had the best holiday's there when i was a kid..my mother and father would take us there for holiday's in the mid 80s and into the mid 90s..we would get the sealink from dublin Ireland to Hollyhead..pontins was spotless and great for kids and Rhyl was beautiful..cheap flights came in and we started going to the canarys then..but pontins was better..its sad to see it like this..I miss those days and miss my mother i recently lost..thank you for the video man!

I stayed in the Ipswich one in 2019. The 24-hour bar ruined it for me. My room was right above the entrance, and I had smokers/drinkers talking outside my window til 3am.

Stayed here about 10 years ago. Absolute dump! Room stank, sofa bed was manky, dirt everywhere. It was well overdue being knocked down. Lacked investment for decades

A ‘good’ Welsh Assembly that keeps banging on about how patriotic it is and caring about Welsh people could actually snap this up, spend some money and create it into a NHL style funded retirement village for its elderly. The bare bones are there. Integrate a shop, medical centre and visiting specialists and a few leisure facilities and bang you can house a few hundred or even a couple of thousand. Less stressful than sticking them in isolated estates.

Spent 1 Christmas there a few years ago. Reminded me of a few Army training camps I spent some time in. Made the Oakhampton one from the 70s look like a 5 star camp.
