These are the measurements of the hooded scarf when finished. Hood : (Folded in Half) = 19 in (21 in w/ teeth) Scarf : (Folded in Half) = 45 in Hope this helps! 👍🏾

Oh that’s totally fine. And yes you most certainly can! The base structure of the hooded scarf is 2 rectangles put together. So if you knit the rectangles separately and then sew them together, you can definitely do it that way. Let me know how that goes! Good luck! 👍🏾 🍀
