No, not really. Had some strange encounters but nothing too bad. Once saw a guy hiking and it was getting dark. He didn't have a pack, clearly wasn't a hiker. It was about 3 or 4 miles from any road access. Just the timing of the day made it a little strange to me. And then you'll hear animals at night like coyotes, possums, or deer moving around. I think that makes some people nervous but not a big deal. When I hiked in 2015 I did hear a strange sound multiple times on my trip but no clue what it was. I'll try to describe it. If you spin a quarter, the sound it makes as it stops spinning and wobbles as it comes to rest on the ground. It sounded like that but it was loud and also low. Almost muted. My best guess was shifting plates inside the earth but that doesn't really make sense. Weird but not scary. If you're in the woods and hear your name being called, they do say not to acknowledge it. That did happen to me once on this trip, now that I think about it. And I didn't acknowledge it. Might have been the wind but I follow those rules. Also, if you see something that looks like a person in the distance, off the trail, best to keep on going. Never had issues with that.

These are from my thru hike last year. Started April 15 and ended in the first week of October. It got cold but not crazy cold.

Appreciate it, I really only made these videos for myself so I could look back in 10 years and enjoy em. Didn't focus much on being "entertaining" but glad some people like them.

I use ghee a lot in the real world, good idea.
