Do the tent sites have electricity
@GoGoGoTravelers9 ай бұрын
Hi, the tent sites did not have electricity when we walked by them. May be better to book a RV site if you need electricity, you can set up a tent on an RV site

probably not, checked the website and found this "The Caledon Trailway is a multi-use trail: no motorized vehicles (except mobility-assist devices). Walkers & cyclists must yield to horseback riders. great video where did you park to start the trail?
@GoGoGoTravelers Жыл бұрын
Erin District High School parking lot is where we started, but about a 2-5 min ride down there is a better parking lot. Address is: 235 Daniel St, Erin, ON N0B 1T0, Canada. Hope that helps

What camp ground did you like better, invenhuron or Macgregor ?
@GoGoGoTravelers2 жыл бұрын
I liked Macgregor a lot more, more to do, larger beach, overall much larger campground, park store is convenient. Last visit to invurhuron it was so packed at the beach area we were not able to get a spot. Beach area is too small and due to covid we were not comfortable setting up neck to neck with others. Mcgregor also is open year round and is an amazing experience in the winter (yurt).
@michellesedore40752 жыл бұрын
Can you let me know what other stuff there is to do there? I’m going to with my cousins and our two kids (2 and 3 years old)! I’ve booked inverhuron because I heard good things but if macgregor is better I’ll probably switch!

Hi what did you need to bring? Bedsheets etc. What types of meals did you bring or make? Thanks
@GoGoGoTravelers3 жыл бұрын
Lots of fun, bring taboggans, hikes are amazing, bring bedsheets, blankets, pillows, we sanitized chairs and tables before use, so bring disinfectant wipes, table cloth, water jug (important) you can fill it up at the comfort station, good for washing hands, rinsing fruits etc.. They provide a natural gas BBQ with a side burner. We just bought prepped food from costco, BBQ food. Bring cooking and eating utensils, they provide a wooden bbq scraper. There is a microwave and water boiler but we brought our own water boiler, the one there was scaly. You can pretty much make any meal with those amenities. Nice and easy. Bring firestarter or torch for starting fires, wood could be wet. They have outlets outside the cabin's this year, we plugged in some christmas lights to light the walkway and paths to the firepit. Walkthrough of the cabins: kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3a2kJieatyHqtU enjoy your trip!!!!

This is great. Thank you. I'm planningbon camping this winter. Was it warm enough sleeping at night?
@GoGoGoTravelers3 жыл бұрын
yes, very warm. Fireplace heater on top of baseboard heaters. They heat the cabins up very nicely. We found it to be too hot sometimes but you could just crack a window open to cool it down. There are also portable plug in heaters provided as well.
