Is this guy kidding? Just use the usb to record directly
@MoXyiD4 күн бұрын
If you can- show/tell me how please! Or link a video and I’ll pin it. I’m not being sarcastic- the usb transfers midi/timing data but not raw audio. My setup now has cables to a mixer and audio interface - which can record direct audio. But memory card still remains a good choice because you can keep the direct soloed recording without needing a daw to send it off and mix it down. Glhf!

this drum kit is killer. Ive had it for over a year now, and its fully implemented into my new studio space and I use it all the time. and I agree about the kick- i wish it was a bit bigger - but it would be hard to fit in my space, so i deal with the 'minor' caveat. i bet its possible to replace with a higher end kick if wanted.

I've been a member of Musora/Piano for about 3 years. I've found the material very good. One of the best features of Musora is their song tutorials. After all, that's what people want to do is play their favorite songs. There was a fairly large library of different song tutorial. Recently, their song tutorials was drastically reduced. They issued a statement on their website that they were working with the licensing agents to allow them to used these songs. That may take a long time. That was a big negative since their song tutorial library was so drastically reduce. Another issue I have with Musora is they Never answer their phones! I've called at various times of the day, including early morning and receive the same prerecorded message. In the message, they give the caller an option to post their call in a cue for a return call instead of waiting online. I've done that and Never received a return call. My experience with Musora initially was very good but it's soured because of these recent changes and interactions.

I got Pianote for Black Friday last year thinking I'd get a piano for Christmas. Well, things being as they are, I didn't get a piano until a month ago (July 7th). It's now August 13th and I'm about a month in and it's been great. I'm not progressing super fast, but faster than I expected. I also supplement with KZbin videos for certain songs I'm trying to learn, but the core of what I'm doing is on Pianote. Pianote is worth the money and I'll renew for sure.

Question Why does the return and send give you more blocks? Wouldn't it technically give you less since you are using up one space for the send and return? I just assume it is to look nicer than the other methods. But I rarely see people use up a full line with doing parallel blocks and stuff. Another question, the amp block I use have a distortion pedal in it. So I just remove the drive and use it in the amp. Have you seen it or noticed it is a feature? I didn't for a while. I will try that drive. Sounds cool. I do death metal so we usually stick to a ibanez tube screamer OD with the mod. I set it to little to no drive and basically max tone. Did you ever mess around with the pitch shifter? If done right, it give a major sound. Especially you pick the ones with the delay. I do a 40 to 50ms delay to kinda make it sound layered. Then same with the IR setting from the cab. Moving the dynamics a bit off gives a bigger sound but not as much as the delay.
@MoXyiD4 ай бұрын
To answer your question - because when you go from simple left to right you get 1 row to use. When if i want more than that for effects i must use a send/receive to extend my usable left to right space. I have used to pitch shifter in high gain stuff. Its mega cool. You can get some gnarly riffs with it. Have fun man! Thanks for the question/comment!

i have a scarlett 2i2 and a axe fx 3, how could i run my mic and guitar without a mixer?
@jacksguitarplanet6 ай бұрын
I'm not being mean, but you don't know what a talk box is. It is a tiny speaker that plays your guitar signal. It is not sampled or filtered. The sounds comes up the tube into your mouth, and then out your mouth into a microphone. That mic is then amplified using an amp that is different than you guitar amp. The signal is not mixed. The only filtering is how you shape the sound with your jaw. Also, they came out in the 70's, not the 80's (Joe Walsh, Peter Frampton, Tony Maiden, etc) Maybe you were thinking of a vocoder? Thank you for the Fractal info though 👍
@MoXyiD6 ай бұрын
Hey - not to retort for no reason, but this video is about the formant. And the purpose of a formant is to serve as a 'digital' talk box. the filtering im referring to is about the formant itself - not the talk box. I do make it sound like the 'talk box' is the part faking vowel inputs though. Have a nice day!

Dude, you already know the answer… there’s plenty of info to be found on KZbin but it takes time to research and arrange it, which takes away from the time you get to practice or learn. Pay for a membership with Musora and you’ll get everything all set up for you to start learning drums guitar piano and vocals… think about that… its the same price a month as what you would pay per week for a local hour lesson but you can practice all day, everyday, anything you want and get one on one feedback for all 4 instruments. Not sure why I don’t pay for a membership, I’m a drummer but I’d like to learn piano or take advantage of everything else
