Brutal trail. I’m out of shape and wanted to try a new trail. I usually ride meadowlark. I’d rather ride Edgewood all day than hit this again.

The gronk is really a fantastic trail to get used to jumping, you can roll everything and most of the jumps you just need to ride off them. I took a great skills class there last season as well, I highly recommend them.

I have an interesting issue. Instalation went good. But when I install the wheel it is not spinning. :( My frame and hanger touches the lockring and wheel is jammed.. It seams casette is to Wide. I checked spiders and spacer alignment. :( Im pissed Any one had this problem?
@MTBGarage Жыл бұрын
Make sure the bottom half with the xd lock ring is fully seated and tight, then reinstall the top rings. Unless its a manufactured issue, it should fit.
@imLinAhMa Жыл бұрын
I just had the same thing happen to me. I suspect that when Sunrace made this cassette, they didn't factor in all different brands of xd hubs... What rear hub do you run? I have the Race Face Vault, and I don't think the Sunrace adaptor threads far enough into my xd freehub body, hence it causes the lock ring to stick out farther than it should, so when the Thru-axle is tightened, the lock ring touches my dropout and seizes. Also the 3 smallest cogs are made crooked slightly. This cassette is garbage. Go for Shimano, bite the bullet and buy a proper HG freehub body to work with Shimano.

Great video, thanks. I just installed my new Vittoria liners on my 29er Trail Bike with 2.6 Tires. I found the liners on Backcountry for $59 each. I broke 2 rims over the years, one carbon and 1 aluminum. These are way cheaper than a new rim.

@MTBGarage2 жыл бұрын
@@frankschock9981 Yes they are much easier to install, but the Pro gets easier to install after being ridden for a bit, and also the new tool Cushcore sells looks to be the perfect solution, it locks onto the bead holding it in place while you press in the rest of the tire.

I ride there 1-2 times a week, along with Ringwood. If you do a loop at Sterling, then head over to Ringwood, you can easily do a 4+ hr ride. They have also just started the construction of the new Augusta Mine Trail at Sterling. Hopefully it will be done by next year!

FALSE ADVERTISING: The Insta 360 X2 is not waterproof and can fail underwater with all compartments sealed. Water got into my camera through the lens housing. It was only a couple weeks old and now has a permanent fogged lens, but still runs. USELESS. Before that happened, the memory card it came with stopped being recognized. Their customer support is giving me the runaround. Buyer beware
@MTBGarage3 жыл бұрын
That's unfortunate, hopefully they end up replacing that for you. I have had devices that got minor damaged without me noticing which ruined the waterproofing, I killed an old phone that way taking it in the pool, but the glass had separated from the body.
