You have to shop around. I got this one for $90 off ebay. The previous releases should be there also, but you may find them cheaper at online bullion dealers.

I like the idea of buying gold regularly, as a way of saving. But with price of gold being so high just now, it's not something I'm currently doing. In 2019 I bought a gold Sovereign every month of the year and in total they cost me £3180. I sold them yesterday for £6233.

The Simpson first aired when I was in college, and I've been a fan ever since. I don't know when I first started using Homer as a icon, but it's probably been at least 30 years ago :) The current logo is a picture of the coin I bought, which my daughter helped me colorize for use.

@ they are very expensive in Israel too because of the Taxes the government charges (VAT) in any transaction. I normally don’t buy them because nobody recognizes them so i was very surprised to see one in your video.

@CaptainEli I normally buy stuff just for the gold weight, so this was the cheapest item they had on their website. Very unusual, because these usually have a very high premium. What is the cheapest gold and silver you can buy over there? If you buy privately you can avoid the VAT also. They probably should be some people selling soon in this economy

9:13 I have data of doing it, been doing it for years, wasted my first cash on a small gold coin far above spot, now im saving more money to buy better deals. If you cant save enough money to be able to buy a 1oz gold coin, you aint going to be able to help yourself with a 1/10th oz coin every so often. The point of metals is to invest your saved up money, not trying to placebo the idea of saving by tricking yourself to buy extremely expensive things just to simulate something you should be doing anyway: saving. The premiums you are paying on fractionals is absurd, either save up enough for an old gold coin like a sovereign or a 20 franc coin, or save up enough for a 1oz krugerrand, or save up enough for a 50 pesos centenario, or just buy a 100gr bar. Anything is better than very expensive 1/10, 1/5 oz coins, its such a waste of money to buy this small stuff with 15 bucks premium, and the square thing was only 100 bucks, better to have 4 silver 1oz coins than a small titbit op gold, there is nothing wrong with saving money for a little bit longer and just buy a 1oz krugerrand outright.

You have data of buying 1 gram per month for 31 months? I did it with 1/10th oz, 1/4, and 5g and it ended up being cheaper to buy those sizes monethy over saving up for a 1oz because of the rise in the spot price. The people who would have bought the "low premium" 1oz gold would have paid more.

Always better to be prepared than not prepared at all. I've made a few purchases from BE since i heard you first mention them last year. I've enjoyed several of their spot deals. Yes i believe HLM is Israeli Gold. Love that you're continuing the gram gold purchase comparison test.

The Aussie Kangaroo! Probably the ugliest sovereign coin EVER! 😮 Haha, I think it is the only BE at spot deal that I haven't picked up. They have always been out of stock when I have been buying other things there. Today might be the day. I don't think I have the mirror bar, so the mirror, the Aussie, the random gold and a few random silvers and I am close enough to $199... I have got some of the most interesting random bars and rounds from them, that way.
