did you attach it directly to the 10:1 dual speed focuser? why is that not a standard when it comes to myfocuserpro?

same setup, but im not able to program the arduino... seems like some issue with windows 11 and the reset line of the arduino.

Curious to know how/what you used to cut the 12 degree angle in the bottom of the transom?
@alldiy2084
@alldiy2084 Жыл бұрын
The drawings for the transom was a 1:1 size, so it was used directly to mark up the plywood. The I cut the plywood woth a circular saw.
@dmasloable
@dmasloable Жыл бұрын
@alldiy2084 Thanks! Did you have a circular saw that allows your to set an angle? It seems like the obvious tool to use, except the ends of the transom stick out, so it seems like an awkward cut. Do the ends also get the 12 degree cut? I didn't see a dashed line at the end. Excellent work on yours, thanks for the video!

Hi, I have your similar setup, sw72ED and DSLR. And, I just had program an Arduino with the same engine like your, but I don't have install it on the 72ED yet (Yesterday I programed it). So, I want to know how do you fix it on the telescope, please if you have an draft or similar información for to put in the best way on the telescope. Thanks a lot

Rebuilding the bottom hull this spring, vith a deeper V shape. I'll make sure I'll document that with a video.
@Quinn-Craft

Your comment is stupid. There are literally THOUSANDS of these boats on various waters built EXACTLY like this. And with the fiberglassed/epoxied hull I'd bet you couldn't punch a hole in it with a 4 lb. sledge in anything less than 20 swings.

I notice you didn't use the PCB the MyfocuserPro2 keeps bring up in the direction. How did you eliminate the need for this board. I really want to do this, but am not interested in the PCB. I have no want for push buttons, temperature probes, and all the other do dads that board allows.

I found the building directions on the github site were you find all relevant information. I think the directions for this simple build wad the suffix B for basic, or S for simple, or something like that. I'll have a look and see if I can find a link to the correct directions. Best of luck with your build. I have recently re-done it, and made the whole thi g alot smaller, with a 3d printed box as small as the arduino nano.

Thanks alot👍 A word of recommendation, note that many of these types have a very "Flat" bottom, so the ride can be rather wet and bumpy. I'm considering flipping the boat over this spring, to modify the hull, for a deeper V shape to cut the waves better.

@@alldiy2084 as a guy who has absolutely no experience with boating I thank you for that knowledge, didn't think it would make a difference but now I know. I'm planning on going for "trips" alone so what size or "feet" do you recommend me and thanks for your time

Glad to help👌 It really depends on what you want in your boat. I buidt mine for recreational use on the Oslo fjord in Norway, for bading, sunbading, and ocational fishing. The spesific design of the Tuffy, didn't really fit these criterias wery well 🤣 The deck and the windscreen I put on makes exiting to the beach difficult and potentially dangerous (slippery), and it's looking too good for getting it full of fish blood and guts😉. But for getting attention and positive comments, it's perfect. It's really nice for cruising around with it's low chines (like riding a go-cart), and rooms nicely two adults with some luggage. Hope you find a design that suites your needs and desires, and that you share your building progress once you get started. What ever design and building method you decide on, the process is really awarding to your confidence and pride once finished 😊
