I have a kid and wife with me can I ride a bike ?
@travellingwithmaz18 күн бұрын
I’ve seen lots of people ride bikes with their wife and kids so the answer is yes but please just consider their safety as well. If you have minimal experience with driving a motorbike and don’t have an international license, I would advise against this but it is your choice as to what you would like to do. Whilst it’s more expensive to take grab or rent a driver, it might be more expensive to pay for insurance in the case of an accident which is common in Asia.

Went there today. Purchased a mahi mahi or dolphin fish as they are called. We got a mud crab too and a steak of tuna. Cant remember how much each was. But for the 3 of them was about $150,000. You then take your catch to one of the grills where they charge you to cook and eat it at their eatery. Was about 150,000rp to cook including a few drinks. Mahi mahi is a very sustainable fish to eat. They grow from 3cm to 6cm in a week. From 6cm to over a metre in a year and 20 kilograms.

I'm a bike rider, and would not recommend to ride a bike for the first time in Vietnam. Go with a scooter or moped where you won't have to shift gears. By the way, "treat everyone as if they're going to do something stupid" while driving is not unique to Vietnam; it's called "defensive driving". It's taught in traffic school in the US. I got a traffic ticket once and had to attend traffic school and they teach you to look and anticipate so that you can react before it happens.
@travellingwithmaz2 ай бұрын
I agree, having a scooter is much better but legally speaking it has to be less than 50cc if someone does not have an international license and that’s the only one available unfortunately. I would still say stay clear from driving in packed city places like Ho Chi Minh City but da nang is quite good in the sense where it’s much more quiet and easier to drive around without contemplating too much with the sensory and anticipating side of riding a bike. Still! A word of precaution that it is not recommended to tourist but a legal option if they wanted to try out the experience

Is the Giant I Bus better than the train ? > Price and time it takes - and - AC comfort ? 🤔
@travellingwithmaz2 ай бұрын
Ooo that’s a challenging question, they’re both good in their own way. Train is a bit longer than bus but it’s definitely more scenic. Train has some delays and sometimes stops randomly and bus goes straight there. Ac for both but I’d say bus is more comfortable than train, however train is a different experience in itself

Is it safe to leave personal belongings when u go outside?
@travellingwithmaz2 ай бұрын
Always be beware of your personal belongings in any situation, you do have a key card for your own specific room so only those who are lodging there will be able to go in. Whilst I haven’t had any negative personal experience with my personal belongings and leaving them there ( laptop, phone, go pro etc), I would still be wary of taking most important items with you or perhaps leaving at reception. It’s all in probabilities but most of the travellers are generally just doing their own thing b

Can anyone tell me if the coach bags OR Charles & Keith handbags re 100% REAL LEATHER AUTHENTIC?, When I was in Taipei I went to a store where they sold C&K but the sales girl told me they were knockoffs 😳😳🤣Well I greatly appreciate her honesty want expecting that though 🤷🏼♀️🤣🙄‼️ She did say the real Charles and Keith store was somewhere else but way more expensive But what about in Cambodia should I trust they are real just cause there in a mall? I’m so happy to see Superdry I’m a heavy superdry VIP I have so many shirts from them ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ It never seems to fail though most malls in these Asian countries have so many American stores they should be original and come up with a few stores of there own I’m sure they do but where🤷🏼♀️ Thanks
@travellingwithmaz4 ай бұрын
Hey there ! I would just like to say the best way to find out their authenticity is to check out the original Charles and Keith website and look at their locations. This will tell you whether the products are genuine or not, generally if they’re from a big store like AEON ( which is a Japanese reputable mall throughout Asia), they are from my opinion generally real and authentic. Charles and Keith in Cambodia is legitimate, I’ve checked it and also, I would recommend buying in Singapore ( if you happen to go there) prices are actually much cheaper and I got my wallet there when doing price comparisons across countries. In terms of the sales girls, I would say just be a bit more cautious of where you’re going and do your research first! If it’s one of those malls outside vendors mixed with food stalls, it most likely would be knock offs. If it’s in a big big supermarket that’s reputable like aeon, I would generally trust it. Oh and also, Cambodia uses US currency as well to purchase items there so it might be a good idea to use this while purchasing goods ;)
