I love thinking how when people sings black and they “tururu” it, every single person has someone in their mind, without knowing, they’re basically singing to that person in company of Eddie and the crowd. This is how music connects us, this is how we share our feeling, our sadness, our rage, the way the guitarist plays that solo, is making his guitar cry, he understands the meaning of the song and he’s literally representing how that sad feeling sounds. Long live Black, Pearl Jam, and all those people who have a special person to sing to. <3 2:44:19
