I've heard people say that they don't know much about Bob Dylan's music before. This is the first time I've ever heard anyone say that they've never heard of him. He's the only musician in history to ever win the Nobel Prize for his music. I know that today our schools, unfortunately, produce graduates who don't know anything about any subject except their own pop culture. Bob Dylan, whose real name was Bob Zimmerman, at the age of 19 hitchhiked from his home in Minnesota to New York City to see his idol, musician Woody Guthrie, who was slowly dying of Huntington's disease . Dylan started playing at clubs around Greenwich Village and soon had a recording contract. It looks like it might be a good movie.

@@SupaaHeroes Your English is very good and gave me the impression you'd been in the US most of your life. A person who spent much of his life elsewhere might well not know about older American artists. As someone who lived through Dylan's early career, my one piece of advice to you would be that his best work is in the 1960s. I'd recommend "Mr. Tambourine Man," "My Back Pages," "Baby Blue," "All Along the Watchtower," "Subterranean Homesick Blues," and "Ballad of a Thin Man."

I moved to the US when I was still in elementary school and during my childhood in the US, music had shifted its focus to hard rock and hip hop. I still grew up listening to all genres of New and old but mainly the “mainstream” artists of the old like Queen, AC/DC, etc. To this day I love experiencing new music, so thank you for those recommendations!

Love your review setup and your fun energy. However, you both talked over most of the trailer and didn't hear a lot of the dialog that helped explain what the movie was about and what was happening. Wicked takes place before AND after the Wizard of Oz movie. It ties the two events together and is a very timely theme for the world we live in today. If you liked Wizard of Oz and the characters, I think you'll enjoy Wicked on a much deeper level.

It's based on a novel, "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked West of the West," which was loosely adapted into a hugely successful stage musical, "Wicked," which has been running on Broadway for 20+ years, as well as in global tours. It's the backstory of the Wicked Witch and Glinda the Good, who are enemies in the Oz stories, how they each became who they are, and how their stories intersect with the Wizard of Oz stories that we know.

heyo! big musical theatre nerd here … so Wicked opened on Broadway in 2003 and is still running in NY and touring all over the nation. the musical (which the movie is based on) is based on the book of the same title that was published in 1995 … not sure when the Harry Potter prequels and such premiered but there is a possibility that this adaptation came first. the story touches on themes like prejudice, family dysfunction, and accepting someone for who they are despite their appearance. the NY run has been observed by fans to not hire POC leads so having Cynthia Erivo (a Black British actress) take the lead in the feature film really digs deep into the themes. the trailer that’s out is for part 1 … honestly I could go on but hopefully this intrigues you both to either listen to the cast recording or find some bootlegs of the Broadway production 😊 can’t wait to watch more!

Why is this getting so much hate? Because zegler can't keep her mouth shut and Disney thought we forgot what she said 2 years ago😂😂😂 The cgi dwarves are hideous. Oh and that scene of her dancing around singing whistle while you work, yeah.... snow white in the original cleaned the cottage because she thought there were orphans living there and she hoped they would let her stay if she helped out. She had the animals help her clean. She tells the animals in the sweetest little voice "you wash the dishes, you tidy up the room, you clean the fireplace... and I'LL use the broom!" But in this nonsensical version, snow white tells the Dwarves what to do... in THEIR own home... after they worked all day in the mine....in the most obnoxious voice "YOU tidy up the room, YOU clean those cobwebs, and HE'LL...use... the broom." 🥴🥴🥴🥴 She does not embody the character of snow white at all. Her attitude is disgusting towards the original film.

The reason why this movie is getting hate is because of misinformed people like this one. She said movie was dated for its time which is facts, the prince showing weird behavior which is facts, and the movie scared her when she was a child which is why she didn’t watch it since, and I’m sorry to break that bubble but that movie was scary for children. We didn’t forget because all she said were facts. The CGI of the dwarves give a Polar Express vibe which I don’t mind as much as other people exaggerated to be. And I’m surprised you even know the song already 😂 at least you did your hw there

Ring of power show is a hard skip, watch Hobbit first then Lord of the Rings. The cartoon was a remake of the Hobbit, its meh but better of just watching the new Hobbit movies. This new animation is looking good so far, its not its own thing! It's 250 years before Lord of the Rings.
