Old video yes, but I'm glad y'all did this game. This game always caused irritation. I could get past a few stages but I never beat it.

I will admit, as a kid I wasn't much of a Quick-Kick fan, but after being sucked into Kung-Fu Theater(a Saturday morning show), and Ninja flicks, he became a favorite. Today I look at him as a cross between Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. with a bit of Chuck sprinkled in. As for him vs Storm Shadow, well, not that it would be easy for him, but Storm Shadow would always best him I believe, but luckily, Storm Shadow isn't really, spoilers, Cobra! I didn't know that he died in the comics. I think that the way Mr. Hama choose to kill off certain Joe's just shows the randomness of War and conflicts. Especially when it's without a glory shot. Pretty heavy stuff for what is essentially a "Toy" centric comic book. I do love the way he was introduced in the British Action Force comic, tying him in with the Marvel Kung-Fu legends. Imagine if they had gone that route with the GI Joe comics, we could have seen Joe go up against AIM, Hydra, Skrulls, etc, and Cobra teaming up with those same baddies, as well as Shield, Cap etc. Winter Soldier being used by Cobra to assassinate Hawk, or go one on one with Snake-Eyes. That would have been cool! Anyway, thanks for another great episode gentlemen!!!.......burg. 😘👍

Quick kick is very interesting character in the whole GIJoe. As kid I wasn’t much fan of him and remember having vhs of cobra quake and lasers night from golden company and still I never grab my attention. I was shock with his death but I think what won me over was the modern 4inch figure and really captured my imagination. Anyway good show guys really enjoyed it

As to the kickstarter compendium I think it's awesome and shows that people are interested in GI Joe! I think the price is rather High especially when you factor in a bunch of the old school fans probably have the issues are multiple copies. I happen to have several sign by Larry Hama himself. But what would be cool is if they actually reprinted the original stories that were meant as in between or half issues to fill in gaps in the original run. As far as I know, a bunch of them were written by Larry himself and meant to be Canon. There wasn't even an issue where it showed doctor Mindbender as a dentist before things went wrong.

I had my dad watch this. He too said that after a while he was so engrossed into the story that he subconsciously started to ignore that he was watching toys and enjoyed it just as if he had been watching a block buster with known cast.

Dam, good episode!!!!!! If only the studio had hired you instead of the uncreative writers from in-house when making the Storm Shadow/Snake Eyes Origins Movie a few years back. You are using GI Joe Toys, and other 1/18 vehicles yet you crafted a story so good, paired it with great music 🎶 timed just right, mated with compelling dialog. I completely forgot I was watching a movie made with toys as the characters and props. Do you prewrite the story and actually draw story boards or just wing it as you go along filming?

As a born again Christian I can honestly say that there are a lot of people that aren't bigots that don't want to see same-sex relationships in their GI Joe. I don't hate anybody but I also don't believe in promoting that lifestyle. Especially in a kids brand. There are a lot of religions that feel that way also. I am in no way telling you guys you need to feel the same way I just to make it clear that there are plenty of people that feel differently about it at they aren't bigots.

One of My ideas for a gi joe cartoon would be an anthology show called gi joe classified where these are the classified missions from the different series. There would be a couple of episodes of each series and maybe tie up some loose ends. So a sunbow arc, dic arc, sgt savage arc, extreme, etc… but that would probably be too hard and cost way too much. Another would be a season long find the mcguffin like weather dominator, mass device or operation dragon fire. We would have a small core group that are joined by specialists all over the world. Which could lead to some twists like stalker landing in Australia and Zartan disguised greets him and uses him and his intel to get the part first or when all hope seems lost and cobra is about to get a piece, a CG betrays cobra and reveals himself to be chuckles or Faces. I got more but those are my 2 current favorites
