It’s so interesting to see everybody’s take on the different characters in this show. When you really sit down and analyze every single character, you find out they all suck. None of them are good people, and that includes Louis. And even though we know what Armand did at the end of the season, he was absolutely right during this entire argument.

Let’s be real, Louis was F’d up and NEVER loved Lestat as much as Lestat loved him. He loved Claudia so much that he let her get in the way of their relationship. Then the cycle continues with Armand because Lestat was his maker and he did have love for him..just never enough. But let’s be honest here…Armand was going to let him burn 🔥 so…was the had it not been for Lestat(which of course Louis had no clue about the truth at this time) Would Armand have really cared? Or did Armand just not want to be alone and didn’t want to see Louis and Lestat back together because things didn’t work out between himself and Lestat? After all vampire loneliness is nearly fatal. I really hate that he ever found Claudia. Lestat really did treasure Louis. He saw him beyond his flaws and hated the way the world viewed/treated him as a man of color. But Louis just has so many issues that being a vampire apparently doesn’t just wipe away. And hundreds of years don’t necessarily heal. 🤷🏻‍♂️ they need Vampire counseling ASAP! lol

Assad is amazing. I never liked Armand, even in the books i couldn't stand him. He wanted to BE lestat and he simply couldn't. His personality was just different and he hated himself for not being better

This scene gave me goosebumps cause this is the way I argued with my person and it crushed my soul to hear how much he still was head over heels for his ex. I was team Armand until later in the scene. Great presentation! Bravo!

He always behaves like he had zero agency in everything but he was just victimising himself to not feel the guilt and shame that come with admitting his actions. He needed to set straight.

I'm looking forward to the songs, I hope they play Forsaken and slept for so long. I can't wait to Akasha and Lestat scenes together. And they get more into depth of Akasha origins, I watched Queen of the damned as a kid on a small dvd player 😅

Read the book if you haven't already. That's where you ”learn” Akasha, and the depths of her cruelty and madness. It's also where you learn just how far Lestat fell; the things he did for her, that were completely against his nature...because he loved her (and also, partially because he was “blood-drunk” on the power of a +5000yr-old vampire's POWER-imbued blood)! But of course...with Akasha being “The First?” The “Queen of Kings,” so to speak? I suppose i can to some degree understand the *whys* around Lestat doing what he did for her (against everyone's wishes)!
