Two things: 1) there's a little rubber piece on the old board that needs to be removed and placed on the new board; 2) there are three apparent seams on the phone which confused me but I finally got that it is the seam on the back piece that he's working with. One more thing, my g7 power wasn't charging before I switched out the usb-c charging port board, but it may have been that I had two bad usb-c charging cables, so check that first. I am at a friend's and my usb-c cable doesn't work but it is his that works.

Hey ive got an s6 lite tablet secound time replacing it (not same device) both times when fitting new screen screen doesnt turn on when i give phone shop they sort out and screen turns on (same screen) any idea what i could try ive re inserted cables etc nothing when i charge i can hear noise etc but screen doesnt turn on

That was not a lens replacement. I watched the whole thing since the lens actually looked like it needed to be replaced. This video showed me how to put a piece of glass over a scratched lens.

Replacing batteries used to be so simple. I had the first iPod nano. You could easily take out the battery. With the old phones, you could do that too. *sigh*

What solder tool do you use? Any kind? Do you have links to the tools you use in the video?

That is not a camera lens replacement. The lenses are the 3 small round pieces of glass. This is a tempered glass lens protector replacement.

Where to get all the new adhesives? are there specific type? or we can just use double tapes?
