This guy is kind of a dick, and not a particularly good critic, clearly. "Lost Highway" is a mess of a movie. Maybe your take is stupid for liking that car wreck of a flick. Just 69% on RT. Btw, Ebert also gave A Straight Story 4 stars and gave Wild At Heart a positive overall review. You big boys should stick together. So, where's your Pultizer?

I didn't think much of "Lost Highway", either. Or Lynch's pretentious arse in general. Lotta style over substance.

Fair enough.

If 88% of the general public give thousands of positive reviews of movies that only 34% of critics do, that's telling. I get it that ppl mostly just want some casual entertainment. Those movies are VERY easy to find. So don't watch movies (or claim to, just to make petty negative remarks)by directors/actors/screenwriters who want to make s/thing they feel deeply about and hope is s/thing special if you can't hang. Watch your Dennis Dugan, Michael Mann, Grown Ups I, II, VII.

Agree, agree, agree. The great majority have shown for the decades I've followed film ratings that they like mediocre movies by and large far more than arthouse movies and similar works by directors held in the pantheon of great filmmakers; esp. those seen as moving cinema into the future. I have great disdain for huge generalizations, but the numbers don't lie. If 88% of the general public give thousands of positive reviews of movies that only 34% of critics do, that's telling.

Wanted to say thank you for interviewing me! It was a pleasure. I was a bit of a nervous wreck, although I wanted to include some background info in regards to 45:55 - how I got started with fandom art. I grew up playing lots of video games back in the 90's and around senior high school around 2006, MMO's became super popular. At the time I was really into an MMORPG called Maplestory, and took most of my art inspirations from there. In high school I started to play around with the idea of creating chibi art. After college, I couldn't find much work as an artist, so I started off in trying artist alley conventions to kick start the idea I had back then. When e-sports started kicking off, I noticed there wasn't a lot of artist, or barely any vendors at the time except arcade parts. I remembered back then, there was a lot of international players, and noticed many gamers were also on tight budgets. So I created the buttons and keychains all drawn by hand to give something to the players to take back home. I noticed that they started to put them on their lanyards, and eventually, I ended up doing so well that it made me think that I may have created something unintentional, but also something cool. So I continued to create art for that purpose. 😄

Too much "YO! SUP! YO!" not enough "Hey! How's it goin'". What a joke and you have to either be black or love hip hop to get a radio show with this BLACK station.
