never grew up with these movies, except maybe spirited away, which was short lived since it aired a few times on one of the cartoon channels when I was a kid. even so, I remember that movie like some weird fever dream. my friends caught wind of this so we had a watch party once a week on discord about a year ago. I wish more animation was like this.

It was something that ghibli captures without words or sound, that this composure captures inversely. Matched with one who had words to only capture the feeling and inspiration, not pictures.
