Bro mine is doing the same but break light is on, o haven’t replaced the shifter yet. But my dash screen is blinking white. A/c shut down and accessories doesn’t even work

i have a 2014 dodge charger n i have that problem but when i got it serviced it stills shows up and the transmission code pops up too and the dash blinks like crazy with the messages

I replaced mines and error still pops up , windshield wipers going by their self etc

Mine does the same I try to start it and no start and wipers go off but if I hit the top of my gear shifter with the palm of my hand everything lights up like normal and I can start and drive the car. Plus if you have any codes that start with P and then the number you can’t just erase it with just a battery disconnect or a cheap handheld obd 2 scanner. You need to take it in to a garage so they can erase that code that’s in the ecm.

I have service shifter message(Dodge Charger 3.6v 2012)since few weeks, but my shifter is working fine,there's no issues while charging to P,D,N,R then why this pop up message is coming?. Please suggest me how to fix it.

Did you find a fix? I think it needs a “Proxi Alignment”. That’s what I did with a 200 and it worked

I’ve had this message for a few months, I kinda blew it off since I didn’t notice any issues. Then It started acting up a couple weeks ago and it’s getting worse. It’ll sometimes shift into neutral, but I have to fight it to get into any other gear. Hopefully this will solve it.

My Chrysler 300 is giving me the same msg but wont shift from Park, i shift to Drive and shifter goes back to Park, will replacing shifter do the job?
