hmmm, limestone can be toxic. I wonder if gym chalk (magnesium chloride) would be a better alternative.

I wonder what the scaling limits of air-dry clay are, down more than up... especially when it comes to fine-detailing and perhaps even holding paint. Can it compare to polymer clays? At the scale you're working at, it certainly looks like a capable medium... especially in your hands and with your talent. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes.

As an artist I’m devastated by the intrusion of AI ( or talking about graphic designers or those who use tools such as Procreate. AI is about to put us out of jobs in the creative field however. 😔

A thought I had is that the clay could be a good base for a design to cover in resin later maybe, anyway always happy to see a new video from you! 😊

The blue stripes on the white sweater was a good touch. What is the "putty" you used to mask the eyes. I am preparing to get my air brush out to begin painting my clay monsters. I always used the air brush on plastic scale models, with solvent based paints. I have decided to use water based acrylics for my clay projects, both air dry anf oven baked clays. Are some water based acrylics better for polymer clays than others. are there any brush on masking materials commonly used?. I remember something used by scale modelers that painted on then developed a cold wax like coat that peeled off. I think masking will be an important issue for painting the clay figures. This is an exciting leap from scale models to clay figures. No more air planes or race cars. More organic shapes and colours are forcing the brain to see more of the world. Excites my ancient artist's brain.

idk if you will see this comment or not but i hope you do, i recently started watching your videos and its so peaceful. The way you share stories, talk about life and things about yourself, i think all of these things you do are so nice and cute. And i love hearing your voice as well, your voice is soothing (even when you have allergies) and its like listening to a lullaby, i enjoy hearing you talk. You inspire me a lot and I hope to be someone like you one day, your videos really brings me peace and i hope you continue making such videos.
