Thx for trying this. I was wondering the same. Would more layers give more protection? Thx again.

Good test. Looks like u lowered by 20 db. That good and half of what I have heard is needed to be safe. Bc of how cheap / easy / tough radiant barrier is compared to other materials this is a very good start. Aluminum foil will give u twice as much but is fragile. Maybe aluminum foil under radiant barrier.

i made a bag using the silver insulation tape. I used pandara on my ph. Used card board insert. Place phone in cardboard. Pandara lost conection. The phone stayed on when I open envelope. I had to seal bag with tape for it to work. So not sure.

That is not a good test. Your radiant barrier had perforation that allow the radio signal to goes through the barrier. And you don't tell me if the bottom had a radiant barrier to block signals from going through the bottom. You need to redo the test with none perforated radiant barrier and indicate that the bottom also has none perforated radiant barrier to make the test valid. Otherwise your test video is not a valid test and is just junk.

I have a helpful hint. If you have WHITE window trim, I install the film. Then, before heat shrinking it, I put white duct tape all around the edges. Like he says in the video. The top corners are the first places the film will try to release. Tape those upper corners well. BYE

I'm going to try sawdust with the paper. Plenty of lumber mills around me. See how it works. Thanks for the keaf experiment. Saved me some wasted time. I was going to run them over with my lawn mower with the mulcher attached to break them up. Still might be a good experiment.

Step 1: Investigate the job Step 2: Call for estimates Step 3: Contact all of your friends / family and see if someone wants your stuff for free Step 4: Make a video of those steps and the new empty space.

*I am not the handiest of individuals **do7.pl/SDoors** so I was a little pessimistic about getting this done correctly. I will say that our home is a new build and figured that our front door opening is not out of alignment so I figured my chances of getting this done was a little bit higher than having to deal with an older home. I took my measurements two or three times and ordered the door. The door arrived at the local HD store within 14-20 days and off we went to pick it up. Someone at the store helped me to load it into our car so that was a great first step - we have an SUV, so plan to have a car as wide and as long to fit it into otherwise rent the HD truck. My friend and I then laid out all the parts and started. We followed the directions, read each step two or three times to make sure we understood what we needed to do and I don't think we had any issues other than when we drilled the hole for the screw that goes into the door jamb for the closer, the drill bit provided broke - what do you do? Thank god there was a small part of the bit sticking out so I was able to grab hold of it with a pair of pliers and out it came - phew! I love the door, it lets so much light into the front of the house and I can't wait to use the screen this spring to let the fresh air in. I was very easy for this novice handymanish person. Anderson has it right, just measure, take your time, and read the directions, they give you everything you need. Oh yeah, there is also you-tube, watch a couple of videos on how to install these doors, sooo helpful.*

What if you grind them to much smaller particles and add pine needles -> crush more -> leave in water so the pine juice can dissolve and then press and wait for them to dry. Maybe I am wrong, but in my head it sounds like a quite good idea although it would require more work and time

Has anyone tried adding a small amount of PVA adhesive to the water as a binding agent before mulching in the leaves? maybe just a capful in a gallon of water may be sufficient. I reckon this might improve the final texture of the brick. Just a thought.
@babypower95824 жыл бұрын
He just need to shred those leaves first and will work fine. Pine leaves are best :)
