I ordered one of this jut today, I watched a lot of reviews and comparing videos Necchi Q132A vs Singer 4432, I think this has better motor, better pedal control. But I will test it my self when I get it. 😊

Necchi is great, I bought mine in Naples Italy, and for the price it works much better than any others of the same price range. The stitches are beautiful and the machine never gave me any problem. The buttonhole is quite nice too..

@fabricmouse Жыл бұрын
Pressure adjuster & needles are what you need to check and then handling. You need to support the weight of the fabric, the machine can’t pull it for you.

I have two computerised machines which I love (Brother & Janome) but they struggle to handle thick projects as I make bags regularly (not leather) so looking for a mechanical machine to handle the greater thickness that I need to sew through. Will this do it?
@fabricmouse Жыл бұрын
That depends on what machines, you can get computerised machines that are much stronger and vice versa. We have a bag making video using the janome HD9 on our FabricMouse.tv channel. I’d check that out for a very tough machine that will sail through bags. Stu

This machine looks like the Singer 4423 rebranded. The same knobs, under sides......just the Necchi cost more.
@fabricmouse Жыл бұрын
Yes there is a lot of similarities, the Necchi does have more accessories and an extension table which would tip the Necchi in price but price shouldn’t be the reason to buy a machine. If you have a budget in mind we can help on the phone and find you the best machine.

how many watts is the motor on this?
@fabricmouse Жыл бұрын
Don’t fall in to this trap!!! A defender will go over a field that a Porsche won’t. In answer 55w but it’s built and geared to make torque the wattage is irrelevant unless the machine is built for it. Usually advertised by cheep machines to get over a poor build when they are having to put a big watt motor on. At 55w this will sew what no other domestic non computerised machine can do.

Bring it to us to fit a new one or your local Husqvarna dealer. NOT A LOCAL engineer that people say is quite good. I don’t know how long you have had it but on all brands the light is not covered under warranty unfortunately. But your 100q will be better in no time 👍

Hello, is there any way to reduce the sewing speed? I find it difficult as a beginner to press the foot pedal only minimally and then hold it at this position. Thank you very much for your feedback and support.
@fabricmouse2 жыл бұрын
No unfortunately old style mechanical machines there is not just via the foot control, we have loads of computerised machines that give you a speed controller on the machine, but the negative side is cost. To get anything like this quality of machine in computerised you need the Janome 740DC. fabricmouse.co.uk/products/janome-740dc-sewing-machine this will give you everything this machine will do with more. If you can stretch, you will not regret your choice.

Hi, is there any difference between this model, the L14s and the LS14s? The LS14s (with a sort of green colour scheme) is a bit cheaper at the moment, so is the model you reviewed worth the extra money? Thanks for posting.
@fabricmouse2 жыл бұрын
There is usually differences that make up price differences, but the ls14s is not sold in shops as far as I can see so I don’t have a huge amount of experience with it. The l14s is sold by almost all sewing shops that have engineers who work for them, I would say the network and backup offered by knowledgable shops is worth its weight in gold to what a catalog or online company can offer.

I have a 2212 model. According to the website I need part 200339007 - even feed foot open toe. I saw on your post that the teeth need to line up with the feed dog teeth (makes sense).
