I've had this 30mtr. Holman retractable hose for 2 Summers now, and can only say what a disappointment it is. Not only does it NOT retract completely, but it's guaranteed to kink in at least in 2 places... EVERY time.. If manufacturers were held accountable for their product according to the advertising they produce, they would be out of business.. l guess it's all about the $$$$... not about making something that actually does what they promise.👎👎👎

The video is a waste of time. We all now it's about a specific product and no one comes here to learn about mulch, so get to the point. Also disappointing that the weather-awareness only responds to rather heavy rain. A good product would check forecast, especially from local stations, to postpone watering if rainfall is eminent.

I just lost an hour of my life because the grid goes up. I was trying to assemble it upside down, thinking the grid was a basket. Instructions suck!

I bought a Delrico hose reel - worked Ok for about 12 months then the retracting mechanism started failing and only half the hose retracted. Basically the reel is a piece of shit. I bought a more "industrial" style reel at double the price, specifically the Alemlube WP 1290 and guess what? it too is a piece of shit. The reason they fail after about 12 months is because they use small shitty plastic components in critical areas that break easily. It seems like a deliberate design that they break within 1-2 yrs if that. One can try to repair these small components as I did, but they soon break again rendering the hose reel basically useless. I suspect that unless you want to pay a few thousand $$, they are all shit and are designed to be so. However I plan to self build / weld up a manual reel with a ratchet mechanism.

I ve bought two and both leak at the fosset. I can't tell if it's just cheap and can't handle the pressure of the tap or its just faulty either way pretty annoyed right now.

this is a decent idea but terrible for most plants that need pollen. bees cant get to them and other moths and bugs that are already in the tent will be trapped. this can also dry out plants as the netting doesn't allow water and more wind thru them.

She seems to be reading off an instruction sheet but doesn’t understand herself how to do the job! Time to throw it away because it was the usual Hollman cheap stuff!

Much easier when your unit comes with all of the parts. Mine has extra angles and pipe joiners for the misting kit, but missing one of the pipes, and I have 15 of the 16 required uprights for the frame. When an engineer needs to come and watch a video to see how the misting clips join, I think the claim of "simple DIY installation" is an exaggeration.

Why is there nothing on the product saying you need two extra attachments? Would have been really helpful to know when buying! Now I have to wrestle my two toddles back to a Bunnings store!

Used once. Poured the fertiliser in, connected the unit to the tap, switched it on and fertiliser came pouring back out, dangerous piece of kit.
