You make it way to complicated. Just grab the bouquet at the top of the vase with one hand and pull it out. With the other hand take the vase and dump the water out and refill it 3/4 full with water. Put the bouquet back in, pretty much undisturbed.

Yeah, no way is dumping the water out with the flowers still in it going to turn out well unless you’re someone who does it all the time. I wouldn’t trust myself not to drop it or completely disarrange the flowers. Better yet, stick them in an empty vase or jar while you change out the water.

Have you never noticed that you uploaded the UNEDITED video? And how you kept going around in circles saying the same thing several times? But the worst was the way you talk to the lady filming (I assume your wife?) My goodness 😮

Hey Rob, just wanted to say big thanks for sharing this. I struggled and have wimped out on previous hikes when presented a challenge like this before, but next week I will be up in the Smokies, and thanks to your video, will hopefully work up the courage with the "sight on your hands' technique.

@@livingwithrob Well.. after everything I had started the top and was probably 3/4 the way to the top and STILL wimped out still. Granted, it had rained earlier and was probably not the wisest time to make that attempt. Either way, I like to think I made up for not making it to the top of Chimney Tops by completing the trek to the top of Mount LeConte the next day, where the sight was just as incredible.

Hello, I want to use Baby breath for flower crown for my wedding, so… I have a question, How many days before should I buy the flowers? And how long do they last beautiful? I am worried About this. Please, I will wait for your answer.
@robertanthonyflorist9413
@robertanthonyflorist9413 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Naomi, this will depend on your circumstance. If you can keep the babies breath in a vase of water, up to 5 days ahead (provided it's kept cool) will be just fine. Once you have taken it out of it's vase to produce your crown, simply mist the crown with water, place in a plastic bag, preferably one that you can close or at least roll the edges over so it's moderately closed, and store in in the cooler. This method will allow you to keep the crown fresh and usable for up to 5 days (provided it's kept in a refrigerator). I hope this helps. Wish you the best!

While I struggle with my relationship with God right now, I started following you because you so freely gave information on how to prepare flowers. At the time, I was making what I now know to be called a sympathy arrangement for my mom (I'm not a florist), and the info was meaningful. Thank you for that, and also for this video too.

Thank you for this information. I took on doing the floral arrangements for my mom's celebration of life flowers including the urn spray because I wanted to put my heart and soul into it for her. While I'm no floral professional, It's the last thing I'll be doing for her and since she loved and grew garden roses, I just had to do this for her. Now, I got David Austin wedding roses, so a big chunk of my budget went there, but wow. Processing these roses are creating a healing energy in the midst of my grief. It's how I found your video: to learn how to process roses. Now for the greens and secondary flowers, I went to a local wholesale florist and spent a little bit more. So all in I paid $300 for the materials including flowers, oasis foam, foam cage, preservative, etc. That's it. for everything. I took a look at the funeral home package and I was stunned at the markup. I do realize they have to pay for a professional floral designer to execute the job, though. I'm doing this at no cost just as a gesture of love to my mom. Anyway, thanks for the videos.

I got a couple dish gardens with different plants in each one but one of them just broke off like nothing. Apparently it was a croton mammy. I am reading they're finicky and theres like this palm thing in the pot and a syngonium and something else. Wish the croton would not be such a dick because I think it's cool looking. I'm not sure what to do and when time comes to separate, what does a noob like me do?
@robertanthonyflorist9413
@robertanthonyflorist9413 5 жыл бұрын
Heather, when it comes time to separate them, simply pick up some potting soil at Home Depot and some pots. I'd think that 6" pots would suffice. Put about 2 inches of dirt in the bottom or maybe a little more...then insert plants and cover the roots. Leave about an inch of space at the top for watering. Good luck!
