Planting palm trees in the middle of a freeway. Are you kidding me?? Safety issues for one...and that alone is enough as a deterrent. To elaborate, they can be uprooted, fall during high winds, among other things.

@@kodjoeray2214 Kodjoe, have you seen the 🌴 trees along the streets of Accra, Manhyia Palace, Dubai, Florida, and California? Please google and see how they make the streets beautiful. The bush serving as a median is only good for rats 🐀.

Hello, well done 👍. Just check the difference between the Subbase and Base descriptions after capture. Subbase might be the stabilized cement type and crushed rocks will be the Base before Binder Course.
@appgod3349Ай бұрын
This is cement road the vice president proposed. I guess the latter wanted to see cement on top not knowing cement is at the base.

I stand to be corrected, but I think this amasaman overpass is just too much and is gonna waste a lot of the project time. I feel the contractor should have adopted the Tantra overpass/roundabout or Achimota/MultiChoice N1 overpass style
@qwesidahlinton49082 ай бұрын
Also if you know the contractor, tell him to use pavement blocks on the agya herbal to john teye main lane median, else it'll turn to a rain forest like Awoshie road median after completion.

I think the project designs are done by the government and highways authorities and not the contractor. They only build to project design and specifications.

Contractors only build what the Ghana highways or ministry of roads give to them unless it is a design and construct contract that one the contractor either have people in house to do the design or they will give it to a consultant as a contract to design. you can't do what you want without first communicating same to the client which is the Ghana highways authority. if you do something different from what is in the design without their permission they can decide not to pay you for the work done.

The outer sections of this road is the worst I have seen in the country. The lanes are so lean I wonder what the consultant and the engineers are thinking to not notice that🤦

Ghanaians must exercise patience, Rome was not built in a day, we shall gradually get there. No wonder Nama Addo said he is in a hurry to fix the nation. He's done a lot, yet still a lot to be done. Other places we call developed pay a lot of taxes, and there's development, let's be frank, what % of Ghanaians pay tax.
