Mine too. its a shame it didn't really work in the show. if theyd've reworked the lyrics and used it in act2 instead of Girls rolling stock, it might've worked better, but here it was just too down n dirty a beat as an introduction to the carriages. Even the later "90 dance" version isnt much better. but as a stand out alone song it works, its very Destinys child/ussy cat dolls-esque.

I can't help but love EVERY version of this song!! C.B. is undeniably the most interesting... maybe not my #1 favorite or the one I think of first in StEx, but he's got another layer of character that the others don't!!

Reading through the comments, People seem to generally dislike the javert in the video -I think He is great, His voice is perfect for Javert: Very commanding and powerful! :)

As I said above, I think that's Mark Heenahan. He came in as Javert just as I was leaving the fandom. As he was Javert #3 following Roger Allam and Clive Carter there was a certain type of way they all played it (and which was not quite to the taste of some people). Philip Quast became the bottom line after that thank goodness. There have been some fine other Javerts though and each has brought a different slant to the role. I'm doing research into Les Mis fans so please feel free to contact me to talk to me.

Enjolras is my favorite character from Les Miserables. Always has been and always will be. I just love Ramin! He puts his whole heart, soul and body into a character and it really is a wonder to behold! Such an amazing actor and singer!

Given the quality, I would say recorded live :) As far as I know, the 10th and 25th Anniversary Concerts are the only filmed performances of Les Mis (Ramin is in the latter as Enjolras, if you want to watch him :D)

No, the tracks were different back then. He was playing Bamatabois and Courfeyrac in addition to covering the bishop.

@Star2bno1 @Evviex It's not from Hey, Mr. Producer!. Claire wasn't even part of that concert. There's a bit of the All I Ask Of You Reprise on the DVD with Michael as Raoul - but Christine is played by Lisa Wroman. (I'm not sure the full version of the song was even performed in the concert) This is from a performance at the Olivier Awards. :)

I saw Cornell in Waiting for Godot at the West Yorkshire playhouse last night. Imagine my excitement when I was flicking through the programme to find he had not only been in my favourite musical but played my favourite part! His acting last night was incredible so can only assume he blew people's minds off as Javert!!!

One of my favorite Grantaire/Enjolras interactions comes from these guys, I think. I also love at 1:55 where Joly gets up and starts pretend dueling him, only to end up on a chair and have Enjolras come around like, "Really?.. Really??" Hilarious! :)
