That painting on the ground at Spring Garden station must've been added pretty recently. They weren't there before. Glad it's there because it makes Spring Garden station look original as opposed to looking like Girard

After I finished filming this during the day this was taken, the bridge did open for a brief moment. But that particular bridge sucks

Lol. The R46s have approached their retirement. As of currently there's about 17-18 sets of R211s in service

I love riding the el train and the trolleys. The trolley lines I use is the 13, 11 and the 10. The 13 is my home line. When I get bored at times ill just go for a joy ride on the trains and trolleys. I find it very relaxing

Extremely lucky. You caught two M3As headed by both the very first unit and the very last unit of the fleet respectively. The set at 18:49 was led by 8000, and then the very next M3A you saw after that, at 22:52, was led by 8141.
@ArtistMTAEnthusiastАй бұрын
Oh wow. I didn't even notice until you pointed them out. It's interesting how 8000 was the very first M3A set and then 8141 being the very last M3A set. No wonder why there's hardly any M3As seen

If it hadn't been for Poli'tricks', Nimbyism (especially when it was increasingly nationwide), and finances (cheating and dishonesty/diverse weights-also nationwide), I'll guarantee everyone that The Broad Street Subway would have greatly been expanded-Jesus Christ would own/operate/expand and all of the Nimbyists will turn into Zacchaeuses because they do not want to burn in hell for being discriminate/prejudiced/racist. . .original plans included railroad branch routes because of similar track guages, the long ghostly awaiting (???) Roosevelt Boulevard Route, Passyunk Avenue Route-note odd jogs in the tunnel along South Broad Street after Snyder Avenue- which would have replaced or supplemented the planned Woodland Avenue Route that would have funneled into the Market Street Subway Elevated Line, Northwest Route coming up for air along the Henry Avenue Bridge for a trip to Roxborough, Willow Grove Branch way north of the city along Old York Road, and the Arch Street Downtown Distribution Loop- a [not too recent] study focused on the Navy Yard area also; fortunately the infrastructure between the current PATCO trains and Broad Ridge Spur are still connected-despite fencing over former track crossovers- due to former rapid transit history where trains changed ends to operate through service via [Benjamin Franklin] Bridge into Camden NJ, and then crosstown service opened along Locust Street until DRPA created PATCO to allow for expansion towards Lindenwold NJ (recent talks again about expanding to Maple Shade first, and Glassborough second as these are whetting up every transit fan's appetite. . .NJTRANSIT's River Line has absorbed the former); when the Center City Commuter Connection Tunnel was built, there was mention about 'High Speed' service extending a branch route to the airport: I thought it was the Broad Street Subway that was being referred to because technically it is a high speed line, AND fortunately I did see the commuter rail route at the airport-PATCO could have extended to the airport via University City, but that's another poli'trick'al agenda; Broad Street Subway is truely a subway unto itself with its classification lights (⚪ Local,🟢 Express,🟡 Local: Broad Ridge Spur, and 🔵 : Sports Express) on the trains, horns blowing at select stations (Fern Rock, North Philadelphia, and my favorite [@] City Hall where another branch line was intended), and speed; I was fortunate to have visited between 1/89-3/05 riding the subway altogether (BSS: 🟧, MFSE: 🟦, SS: 🟩, and PATCO: 🟥): I still remember seeing empty trackspace between Erie and Olney Stations a couple of years before the void was filled in for expansion.
