Awesome job. Too bad this vid didn't get more views. Can't believe you went through all this and never took the top down. It should be an OSHA thing. I have repetitive stress disorder from cranking my neck 90 degrees to get into mine with the top up.

@@MGPtuning That's what is cool. In the Solstice community, there seems to be a terrified stigma that nobody can tune these cars. There is no such thing as going to a tuner and have them work on the car. Everybody ships their cars off to one of two shops in Texas that claim to have proprietary tuning techniques. They claim similar results to what you got. Wish I could do it, but I can't.

Why would you think that? 491 on pump gas is very good with these mods? You probably been reading those forums where people clam 600 hp with a cam swap lol

@@AGodNameFleetlol your one of those guys. A dyno is a tuning tool. Humidity, elevation, DA a million things effect hp. Not to mention you will see some places with dynojets that put out ridiculous high numbers. 491 is what it actually made not some fluffed up number.

Aint no way in hell that thing is seeing a 300 shot and only doing 280 to the wheels. A npi car does like 180 give or take stock to the wheels you should be over 400 rwhp even if theres no other mods. Obviously something is way off.

My shop said the biggest you want to go on a stock converter is stage 2. Anything higher and you'll want a converter upgrade. But I have the A10, so that may be why in my case.

I dont get this either???? Just the plastic part to go from a single tip to double tip exhaust is like 3 to 400 bucks. Just seems really stupid to me. Wish i knew more. I have a small solstice collection i guess but the GXP models that i have had are super quick and super nice........

Nice results! I bet with some good heads you would hit about 500. What I'm working on my ls2 now. Just installed a btr stage 2 cam and prc stage 2.5 heads. I still have a few things to piece together before running off to the Dyno.

Pretty cool. I did that on my own. Diablo canned TCM tune has hard shift option. It makes it instantaneous at WOT. I used to hit the rev limiter on manual shifts but no more. It is slightly jerky feel at lower speeds due to shifting hard, but nothing that bothers you. I also run E50 in this same C7 Z06, but did that with HP Tuner and flex fuel tune. Toyo 345/19 on the rear and now I have the perfect street racing car!

I run into mines slipping 3-4 sometimes but the shifts are more on point compared to using paddles with the terrible delayed up shift response
