Modern Cowboys use a ATVs and trucks so a lug sole is needed. Not to say people aren’t riding horses anymore because obviously they do but there is a place for both smooth and commando soles.

Found the same boots at my local Tecovas store on clearance. Got em for 200 bucks (down from 400). I was looking for some plain black ones but got these when I tried them on. Very comfortable I wear them almost everywhere I go.

I like everything about these except that side seam on the vamp. However, at the price point I guess its understandable. Reptan was a great choice - probably the best conditioner out there for reptile skins.

How is the sizing with this boot? Im a 11.5 with wide feet should I go down a size or half a size ? I appreciate your help
