awesome song- Richard wrote the music so many years ago and it was always only ever meant to be an instrumental piece. Tim loved it and felt he had the perfect lyrics that went with it and asked for Richards permission to do it. Richard re fell in love with this song in a whole new way.

Yeah, I don't think the clip got much airing at the time (so I certainly enjoyed seeing it again more recently and had to re-post when people said it had disappeared) and she was Tim's partner, so I suppose it was a case of any excuse to show her off ... or just the convenience of having a live-in actor!

That would be the logical conclusion to draw, yes, but I've seen a lot of footage of Liam in ALT stuff and while it's hard to be certain because of the quality of this clip, I am pretty sure that's not him in this.

I think it's Liam Ó Maonlaí from Hothouse Flowers. He was the "L" in ALT.

I've performed this a couple of time on acoustic. It's a very sweet song to do. And people really love it.
