My Father Bob Beyer was a Sgt and Dog Handler in the USAF and if not for his Sentry dog Honcho, I wouldn’t have been born. And I’m sure, No I know he saved a lot of soldiers lives so they could make it home. We had dogs when I was growing up, but when I asked him why we never got a German Shepard he said he couldn’t look a German Shepard in the eyes, after I saw that the dogs never could come home it all makes sense now.
