It does happen in Sweden sometimes, to enforce the "motorists have to give way to pedestrians at pedestrian crossings" rule. Of course, you are also allowed to cross the street mounted as long as you give way to the cars. More often than not, cars actually stop to allow cyclist to cross without dismounting, which makes it faster for everyone.

Sorry....Not for me..Had a few TIAs, strokes, and given a big list of donts. Nope. I'm still in pretty good shape at 55 and there's no point lvjng a life not worth enduring. I've always been an outdoors and sports type and I'm not going to stop this or anything else.
