I've not done any hiking in the area but I believe there is a trail from the De Barras side. Christopher Cox did it fairly recently. I can ask him.

Heading there in 3 weeks for the third time and was looking to see if there were any new vids. Did you take this during their September closure and are they doing any reno's worth noting?

Yes it was closed for renovations, I uploaded the video the same day I flew it. I don't know what they are renovating apart from what you can see in the video. Looks like they are redoing the surfaces around the main pool and boardwalk areas.

@@davek7303 I live in St. Lucia and actually had a one day Staycation with my wife to celebrate her birthday around the middle of last month. I found out that they would be closing down for six weeks for some renovations so I asked one of the managers if it would be OK to come back and fly around the closed hotel. Got the permission so there you go. Did you see the other FPV videos I made during that short stay?

Heartbreaking. I feel so helpless. How do we determine whether it is deliberate or the unintended detriment? Are those entrusted to protect these areas, the local community, Government of Saint Lucia, National Trust, etc, taking any action to monitor, record or reverse this? Do you have any info on where our efforts can be targeted?
