Damn, now we all remember how Donald and Barron Trump went out in the most badass way with a badass soundtrack. Ignore the casualties.

For the people complaining, do you seriously expect Magma of all bands to play their material the exact same way for decades? This sounds very in line with the style of Kãrtëhl
here, doing my own casting for linkin park's vocalist option... lol

We no longer live in a world that materially supports the kind of art and artists we had in the 20thC where the future was still alive in the imagination. Now, we exist in an eternal pastiche of the 20thC. Capitalist Realism.

I remember when I first watched this movie I couldn’t sleep and it was showing on “Adult Swim”. This scene is my favorite but it left me confused and sad. I was sad that Tema had to died and Kanichi was left alone.

Lifted from Mick's first solo album in 1985 during a period when the Glimmer Twins were barely on speaking terms. Later, they wouldn't speak at all. The album did fairly well in the US and UK, and used over 30 different musicians, including Stones musicians Bernard Fowler and Chuck Leavell. Backdrop: The other Twin was not pleased that Jagger was pursuing solo work, feeling that the Rolling Stones should be first priority for both of them; Keith was especially upset because in 1983, Jagger had piggy-backed a three-album solo deal with Columbia onto the multi-million Stones deal without informing any of the other band members. Mick even had the cheek to include one Glimmer Twin song on this album! Mick on the other hand, had had enough of Keith's (and Ronnie Wood's) drug and alohol abuse where they would turn up for a show late and barely fit for work, Keith falling asleep in the studio and backstage before shows (no-one dared to wake him as he kept a loaded gun under his pillow and used it quite often) and disappearing off to Jamaica during recoring sessions. It was about 1989 when Mick realised that the Rolling Stones is bigger than both of them.

the instrumentals always fascinate me in dillinger.. as a drummer, it blows my mind that they for one, wrote this technical stuff and two, able to remember all of it. the time signatures and note placement ridiculously awesome

It was pretty indictive of its time. Richie Blackmore was famous for staying up late at night to listen to Romanian folk songs being played on the state radio from the country.

He really hated this sound, I actually kinda liked it. The live version of Necrolust from that one Mayhem album features the drummer “Hello Kittying” before it goes full thrash. You gotta love Fenriz
