This would be great for adults with autism and physical disabilities in the uk! There is a lot of playgrounds and soft play for children with special needs and disabilities but when they get to 18 their needs have not changed because of their disability.

Back when i was in college, me and another wheelchair student convinced the college to rent a bunch of wheelchairs for the day for students to see what it was like to use the wheelchair for a day. Mostly positive feedback . I don't think they did it again for liability reasons and someone complained about it being 'offensive' to pretend to be disabled ...but can't please everyone. One of the college faculty got stuck in the one cafeteria for hours trying to find someone to let him out on freight elevator ...the only way to get to the one cafeteria.

I thinkits cool that the kids are learning about the differences in a wheelchair to see what people go through. Its great their learning

There is no such thing as "Wheelchair accessible" or "handicapped accessible". The two terms have different meanings. "Wheelchair accessible" means being able to get around a space while sitting in a wheelchair. Wheelchairs are different heights and different widths. The standard space required is a radius of five feet. "Handicapped accessible" means meeting the needs of the individual based on their spacific disability (AND abilities). "Accessible" public restrooms don't work for everyone who has a disability. The same can be said for hotel rooms and bathrooms etc. People only think in broad general terms that ultimately don't work for everyone. Able bodied people are also often the ones who are designing things they think will actually work for someone with a disability...until it doesn't.

Im fixen to finally move out east get to travel thru few states from Louisiana to south Carolina hope these next few Drs fix ME little found new prob for why I get dizzy get sick and throw up alot. My brain something loose in back guess. They want to do scan now well 2 months ago. But lost mom june 12th my daughter left home shes upset with me guess when you dont like who they date makes dad the bad guy. Lol. But yea im selling all my stuff now found me bigger truck to pull a toy hauler that got ramp so easy to load grill wheel chair my scooter. So once my stuffs sold big stuff. Im gonna find some family in need let them take what they want. I just want fishing camping dads tools few mine sell the rest. But my knives and cloths. The rest dont want. O taking my NASCAR collection it will prob sell better in south Carolina. Then got to find a driver wants to travel. Let them drive my dodge and pull my boat follow me to alabama. To a friends then south Carolina. Cant weight to meet my son for the first time. Hes 24 but never meet but 1 time he was 6 months old. And was told wasnt mine so ide moved to alabama then much with my baby girl 9 years later found out I did have son so this is my first chance to meet him. He called me said was worried about my health wants to meet. So maybe one day yall travel again still love to meet shake yalls hand for being such a nice family and always so kind to me.
