@@mrgooner551 No funj sultanate exist on its own and the slave who escaped from the perpetrators of slave traders took rest in Nuba Mountain before reaching Funj sultanate of his origin that's why others get confused whether Funj kingdom was formed by Nubian ancients or Funj itself.
