I love early tame impala jams like this and I'm glad it's in a pretty high quality too. I've said it a million times before but I'll say it again, wish they still made psych rock music. The Slow Rush is a fantastic album and all, but this is just more my style. (First comment since 2013)

give the studio recordings a shot. whoever recorded this picked up only Kev’s guitar (granted it was thin set on WAH and with no supporting members audible). When properly balanced trust me it’s absolutely mesmerising.

I feel songs in loveless are fine not only as shoegaze master piece（often filled with noise, delay etc） but as songs that simply have beautiful melodies（you can find on youtube nice covers of mbv by acoustic guitar）. If you don't like noisy side of shoegaze, please try to listen to " industrious" by seefeel. There may be another side of the music called shoegaze🙂
