Nu merg butoanele de pe volan și m-am uitat deja la sigurante si am vrut sa te întreb dacă știi ce ar putea fi,Din moment ce îmi apare este o eroare SRS și Nu știu dacă ar putea fi senzorul unghiului de rotire a volanului

Sal. SRS poate ai plasa din scaun pasager rupta sau capsa pirotehnica airbag expirata , asta daca sti sigur ca masina nu a fost lovita , la clk daca deconectezi bateria si o conectezi iar se aprinde SRS , scapi usor cu rotire de volan maxim stanga si maxim dreapta , asta e legat de senzori unghi … , nu stiu daca merge si la a class iar legat de butoane volan poate ai firele din coloana rupte , am intalnit la seria 5 …. Asta mai si claxona aproape la orice curba 😂 , dupa cum ai raspuns la ultimul mai mai mult ca sigur e SPIRALA COLOANA VOLAN.

It wouldn't have been necessary to dismantle half the engine to get to the top screw on the starter. When the car is on the lift, you could have loosened the hard-to-reach screw using a 16mm socket and an 80 cm extension through the cardan tunnel.

Why did you have to remove the tensioner housing for? if you just changing or greasing the bearing for the tensioner guide Wheels? What grease did you use silicone greas?

Yes , yes it does, the simpler option is to buy with a complete starter kit, at least in my country. you can try at the yamaha representative for a duplicate key based on the CDI reading, if not a complete kit: CDI, tank cap, seat lock, key contact (possible with upper yoke).

Brilliant job, I'm having the same problem with the display going so low that you can not see it. If I buy a replacement speedometer and cluster second hand from ebay, would it be just plug in and play, or would it need programming? Thank you

Yes it will work but look for one from the same year of manufacture, there is a 50% chance because mercedes fixed this problem after 2008 and the update screen works at 8 volts and the one with the failure at 7v

It is a 2007 plate, and the person selling the second hand cluster and speedometer said it would need programming, so not sure what to do. I do not want to unplug the old one just in case it will need reprogramming. But if you say it will be ok, I will try it lol. Really appreciate your time.

@AutoMotohowto46 din cate am mai cautat si eu e problema de cutie de viteze. Arborele principal are un atenuator de socuri (nu inteleg de ce nu l-au lasat pe discul de ambreiaj ca la masini...) si arcul se colapseaza dupa un timp un pic si nu mai tine impins. La relanti motorul nu are cum sa merga rotund si astfel se aude tacaneala asta. E ca o tacaneala de volant cu dubla masa. Multi au mers asa fara probleme si fara sa se agraveze sunetul. Am si eu sunetul asta la motorul meu.
