This color is not full black it looks to have a grayish color- TEST to find your like, and as for the gloss not full gloss. I love full gloss colors- My ceiling was smooth out from popcorn. I went with high gloss- gray platinum paint, I did this so I could mop my ceiling when dust comes- and it does. It takes it!!

Been binge watching your videos! We just went under contract on a Grand home 2 weeks ago, same exact floor plan as you in south Dallas. How long from beginning to end did it take? We have our design center appointments scheduled in 2 weeks.

Heyyy thanks for watching !! We signed in August and closed a year later in sept . Definitely went over the projected date by 3 months. Have fun at the design center. .i would highly suggest to write down everything u want before u go and get pricing on everything . Your second appt u can take everything off u don’t want or need . We forgot to add extra lighting throughout our whole house and I really regret . They literally give u the bare minimum .

@@KarlaMonique thanks for responding! We’re moving from Atlanta, so we have to do both design appointments in 2 days 😭 I’m stressinggg!! They gave us a 5 month close date! What levels did you end up mostly using? And I’ll definitely add that to my notes about the lighting!!! I’m so clueless on everything your videos have been so helpful!

@@AMarch-ib2th oh that is a lot faster . We had a week which still wasn’t a lot of time . Call ahead and ask if they can email u the list of all available upgrades so u can prepare better . It won’t have prices but at least u can highlight what ur interested in . Some items I never even thought of . Yeah they told us 5 months from ground break as well . Definitely not realistic . We were the first house to even sign . And other builders around us finished first . No idea of the levels . They go up really high so I didn’t pay attention to that at all . Just picked what I liked

Hey Karla! Love your videos! Yes to adding more curtain panels so it looks fuller, and you can do the bench a neutral white and play with accent colors using pillows to see what you like best. White will go well because it looks like your bedside tables are also white. That'll make it easier to swap colors if you swap bedding or curtain colors. Do what you want and have fun with it!
