this would be a very different design that your current direction, but as far as a third tracker, have you considered a steam vr index lighthouse tracker type of setup. a vive tracker has some interesting features on the bottom of it called pogo pins. they allow certain commands to be wired into the tracker. I think there is at least one basic vive tracker compatible gun accessory out there so the idea is certain buttons can be activated from the hardware its attached to for example a trigger.

@@akm5611 it's a bit intimidating taking the diy approach but considering the price and how legit the results are it may be worth a shot developing these v5's. I wouldnt mind paying a realistic premium for someone to built these out as its still going to be vastly cheaper vs something like manus quantum clocking in at 8k for state of the art gloves. as my focus is more on animation quality and not so much haptic features I do wonder about accuracy above all else, but then again there is a point where something can be good enough considering the current generation of tech.

Thank you all for watching the video! I am surprised how many people have watched, the reason I made the video was to show the possibility of what the Oculus Quest 2 can be used for aside from just gaming. While wearing the belt you don't notice that you are getting some serious exercise. If I get enough response from all of you I can make a video with amazon links about how to build the belt step by step. I feel that this is a great way to stay in shape and not go to the gym. Until Covide is under control we all need to follow the guidelines provided for us. Stay home, stay safe, and GAME ON!!
