Yes, visited Uzès a few years ago - lovely little town and a great vineyard (Domaine St Firmin) north of the town centre. It offers tastings and there are many reasonably priced fantastic wines, they even had a rosé I liked and I’m really not a rosé drinker normally

Jesus Christ what has happened to the world.. HAVE we descended into hell... I recall in early 90s visiting germany, stayed with friends..it was so ckean beautiful...well dressed people, locals and tourists...luxurious art galleries, restaurants.. Quaint street markets, with handmade goods.. I recall having to be careful on trains...which i travelled a lot on as a tourist. But now i dont recognise uk, or rest of europe anymore..in a short time since 90s its declined into a dystopian horrir movie, reminiscent of victorian times..charles dickens times..my God..this is nothing to be proud off..

I went to Les Gets last year, we went with The Ski Gathering, about 20 people solo traveling. It was great, we went to Morzine and into Switzerland. We had a great lady guide who organised us with restaurants etc. I’m going again in 2025, can’t wait!

Not a single street you have been on belongs to Born. Not one. That area is "Santa Calina", Born is further down. And that building is not "Opera House", it is the Palau de la Musica". A modernist concert hall and a must-see. Inside it is spectacular.

As a Malaysian, let me elaborate in detail. Why does Kuala Lumpur look cleaner than Bangkok? It actually isn’t. Bangkok appears more chaotic and messy due to the electric cables hanging by the roads and the old, dilapidated shophouses nestled between skyscrapers. KL, on the other hand, doesn’t have shophouses between its skyscrapers, which makes the city feel more spacious and less intense. Regarding taxi scams, Malaysians owe a lot to Grab since its introduction in 2016. (It was founded by Malaysians but later moved its headquarters to Singapore.) Before the era of Grab, Malaysia had some of the worst taxi drivers in the world. They conned everyone, including locals, and the situation was far worse than in Bangkok. I could say almost 50% of my taxi trips were scams, even though im local. The Ministry of Transport did nothing about it. Grab essentially wiped out the taxi industry in Malaysia, which Malaysians are extremely happy about. Bangkok definitely offers a far better shopping experience. If you pay close attention, the Thais are undoubtedly more creative than Malaysians, as reflected in their restaurant theme and shopping mall decor. This is the main reason Malaysians flock to Thailand for leisure.
