Actually dogs dig holes like that to cool down and many other reasons. I know this because I have Great Pyrenees dogs and they do the same thing the one female dug a 3 foot hole and had her puppies in it. And she guarded them well

I was concerned that those rubber sided sealed bearings wouldn't hold up next to that bevel washer especially if that thing spins over time. How has it worked out for you?
@LanceNeves2 ай бұрын
It doesn't touch the seal (the beveled washer to the rubber part) at all, it has a shoulder on the shaft to keep them from touching, and it being sealed keeps it from corroding, it has infrequent use so this has been and still is the fix.

Sure swap coil number 1 with coil number 4 and see if miss follows P0304.

Does it matter if your coil is mounted upside down?
@LanceNeves3 ай бұрын
If you mean ignition coil then no, but a longer coil wire with it upright is less likely to come loose, however, this is how it was from the factory I never had any issues with that.

Shows at 2:37 that grease will hold it in place (red sticky) it was amazing how little grease GM put in it to begin with, as far as I'm concerned it's an intentional failure point.

Did you ever figure out how to keep the oil slinger from leaking out of the snout hole on the SM420 into the fly wheel cover ? Did your idea of that small green O-ring work ? How much gear oil did you fill it with? I tried synthetic 85w/140 that slowed it down, but did not stop the spot on my garage floor ;)
@LanceNeves7 ай бұрын
It seems to be but the road draft tube is more likely your leak :-) I'd park over a flattened cardboard box.

I just found this video. I have the same setup. I have taken this to a driveshaft shop. And was told that this setup was a hack job, just to make it work. Have also been told that the ball is supposed to slide off in order to get to the bearing inside. Can you show what the other end it the shaft looks like? I have never seen another like this.

I didn't say this but with the right hacker (I will not say programmer) you can delete the code as an option. Again illegal only a hacker will do that. I am with you when you can buy a gas-powered lawn mower that will expel more than any modern car, it is a double standard for sure, but regardless plants thrive on CO2 so why would we deny them more of it? Remember this that same lawn mower uses a carburetor that meters fuel based on one simple rule 21% oxygen in the air it inhales, that number is ROCK SOLID. no matter how much CO2 we release. It's all about control over us remember that......

Thanks for your video! Do you know if the timing chains can be done with the engine in the vehicle?
@LanceNeves10 ай бұрын
Easy enough! The answer is no. Unlike your parents, I will try to explain why, it will be (near) impossible, lifting the body off it is the way to go, otherwise you will be climbing Mount Everest twice and there is no guarantee you could get it done, it will for sure take 4 times as long if at all possible and placed with such a daunting task no one will try and I assume you found mine looking for just such a person. To get the water pump pully off you have to jack the motor up and down and find a sweet spot I'm not sure the timing cover will allow that same sweet spot, and getting the new one in without messing up the silicone will be a miracle in and of itself! Also, the oil pan has to be removed regardless as the oil pump is in the timing cover, it is simply not with the risk as once you get started it will be un driveable and if you cannot finish, I promise a shop will charge more then book time to fix it for you... It is what it is I'm sorry!

Voltage is a measure of potential current, not necessarily the amount. Amperage is what actually drives the components in the circuit. It's possible to see voltage on a circuit that cannot provide enough amperage for the load required.
