As a child being born in the 80s, this show along with Pinwheel, Sesame Street and Great Spacecoaster was always worth watching this happened before I started school at 6 now that I'm 44 the theme song just still gets stuck in my head rest in peace Nerene and to all of you 80s TS fans say those magic words: "Hocus Pocus Alimagocus" Todays special "shout it loud and clear" TODAYS SPECIAL!!

I was an embryo when this happened

I am here in 2024. I’m 45 years old. Listening to the intro song took me back to a time I will never forget. I would sit on my sofa with my garbage pail kids cards, and my GI Joe figures, watching todays special. My Commodore 64 computer would be on in my room, and my microwave fried chicken, corn and mash potatoes tv dinner would be cooking. Take me back, take me away.

Im literally tearing up y'all. My sister and i used to sit in front of the tv watching this, the letter people, mr. rogers and sesame street as a kid on Saturday mornings sharing dry honey nut Cheerios straight out the box (we liked em that way) with oversized tee shirts on and ponytails in our little heads. We're in our 40's now, with grown kids. They'll never be able to experience what we, and all of you were able to as children....and it's quite saddening. Shout out to all the 80's kids. What a time to be alive!!! ❤️#GANG

Couldn’t help but get a little emotional. These were the days of magic, innocence and wholesomeness. Wish we could bring this type of content for children, back, but the world is in such disarray who knows. Hugs to my fellow 80’s babies/90’s kids! We had it so good 😢😊

I often wonder why songwriters don’t just learn chords and lyrics like pop (sorry for the swearing) musicians do. It looks such a chore having to reach to turn the sheet music over. This must be a song that Sondheim knows well.
