Oh wow wow wow! Those dolphins! I was moved to tears watching them. They came so close! I’m scared stupid of big birds so I wouldn’t have been grinning, I’d have been running in the opposite direction lol! Loved the drone footage too! Wonderful! 🐬🐬🐬

Loved this! Everywhere is so different ! The shell beach was lovely, and the water beautiful! That road was definitely a rollercoaster!

Conga caterpillars! Arghh! lol! :) the places you visit are so varied. I wonder what happened to the river? The campsites look interesting especially the last one, and oh dear to the windscreen!

Hahaha yes what a line the was with so many legs 🦵😂 Guessing a heat wave or drought caused it, it happens and sometimes the water comes back if it rains for long enough!

Another sunny and beautiful adventure! Loved the giant dinosaur footprints, ouch to those things on the floor, and the beach! The sunset! The Caravan of Camels! 😮 I didn’t expect to see that but how beautiful on the beach! Really enjoying these, thanks :) and I’m so sad about the fires! Very close to the road:(

Oh my gosh! The reflections are amazing! You realise how useful drones are, to show you an area, and yay that you got Dean back! So sad to see fires and flooding damage. You’re both such intrepid explorers!

Hahaha are we? 😅 Drones are so invaluable to see what we couldn’t reach (which is pretty much everything when you think about it)! I’m terrible at controlling ours though 😂 So glad you enjoyed this part of our trip xx

Hahaha he really took one for the team!!! Yes, the fridge was... a bit hassle especially with our food in there and his medicine that had to stay cold all the time. Could have happened in a worse place I guess. The joys of travelling hehe ;-)

Those trees are so gorgeous! I thought they were fat to begin with, so that was interesting, as is the time difference, I think that’s what you said? For some reason this video was quiet, and it really doesn’t help that I’m partially deaf, lol. But anyway, I really enjoyed this, bit worrying about the wildfires, and the devastation they leave behind. Our van comes TODAY!

Hi Cheryl! Not sure what you mean about the video being quiet? As in no sound? It seems ok at my end… Australia is so big that when you cross it horizontally, you have to wind your clock back 1.5 hr one way and forward in the other direction (when you cross over to the Western Australia state) 😂 Bush fires are so scary, and disastrous and some are caused by birds we found out later 😮

Oooh! Bunnings! I have a story about them - we saw our first bunnings we were in a car, and I shouted “ bunnings “ and my husband nearly crashed the car! I was loud though! lol! I love the idea of the shower (I’ve made a note!) and those hot springs looked amazing! I can see what you mean about not dog friendly on that pathway! I’m loving these! I wonder if we will document our journeys!?

You are so welcome Cheryl! I'm pretty sure there will be beaches in my paintings some time in the near future hehe ;-) A lot of the large carwashes also have a dog wash in Australia - We'd never used one before but since we don't have a bathtub in the van... haha Elliot wasn't impressed though!!

well milk mostly… We drink the milk produced by lactating mother cows, you know the milk they produce for their babies (not humans)… They get impregnated so they produce calves. The milk they produce for their babies is taken away for humans to drink instead of calves… The desperate and scared calves are taken away from their screaming mothers… The males are usually killed because they are of no use to the dairy industry… and the females are put aside for a too short period of time, and then get impregnated and the cycle repeats. Over and over. Makes me sick! If more people understood this maybe things would change

It sure is!!! I always hold the bracelet so he does is lick and nibble. He just loves to lick everything 😅 I had no idea about the buffalo’s either, thought I was in Texas for a minute!!
