I have the odc maverick, or at least that's what I ordered, designs seem to change constantly. Mine doesn't have the front flap, but that's not really an issue.. My issue is that there's no easy way to put it on/take it off. The side velcro is sewn in on the front, so the only adjustment or removable bit is in the back. Obviously making it impossible for donning the vest as a one person job. Literally the only way to do it on your own is to leave it loose enough to put it on/take it off like a t-shirt. It's a beautiful carrier but easily the worst, least user friendly, carrier I've ever had.

I especially like the broad, angled and offset neck protector, it looks to actually provide good protection from straight on, its easily 2x the size of the front collar on an old Interceptor vest Id also like something more than just velcro on a bottom loading vest, but velcro works fine, I sewed a 1" cobra buckle onto my carrier to guarantee plate stays in there This vest is fantastic tho by any measure, pointblank has been at this for a long time, theres good reason they are huge

This vest is garbage. The zipper in the middle breaks and the velcro doesn't match up. It's also impossible to find Point Blank molle gear online. Running the earpiece is also a joke in this "vest".

This vest is horrible! Our department just went to these and he makes it look easy zipping it up. It’s really not. Average size note Pads do not fit in the pockets and you have to move your pins to your abdomen area. Really didn’t have the patrolmen in mind when making this vest and all around horrible design.

130 dollars, waited 2 months for it to arrive, and spent an entire rdo just trying to get the shield in this thing. Do yourself a favor and get the blauer.
